Dormice

Defiantly one of the most aesthetic species we work with. We are able to undertake a number of sensitive operations to allow the safe relocation of dormice within a given area. These include: Phased vegetation removal with ecological sensitive felling techniques. Hedge planting and laying. Dead hedge habitat corridors and woodland management.

Case study: Our staff have worked on some of the largest door mouse projects in the UK. Including a two year door mouse habitat enhancement project that included the laying of over 11km of existing hedges, the planting of over 50,000 native hedging whips to create habitat corridors between existing populations, and the instillation of over 21km of stock fencing.
