Bridge Environmental Services is an ecological mitigation company, operating across the midlands and southern England and south Wales. We are able to draw upon a vast collection of knowledge and experience to undertake sensitive projects safely, with minimal impact to the species and habitat on site.

Over the last fifteen years our staff have had the pleasure of working alongside some excellent ecological consultants to deliver extremely complex, bespoke mitigation projects. On schedule, within budget whilst adhering to the highest standards of ecological best practice.

Our staff have installed an estimated 500,000m of GCN, reptile, and water vole fencing. Built over a thousand hibernaculum ranging in size from the standard 2x1m, to 4x30m. Designed and installed dozens of GCN mitigation ponds, and planted in excess of 200,000 native shrub and tree whips, all to industry best practices.

Staff Profile: Director: Luke Feilden-Irving

Since graduating from Sparsholt Collage, with an FD in lowland woodland management in 2007, I have been working in ecological mitigation. In that time I have been involved in the successful translocation of an estimated 45,000 GCN, as well as a similar number of reptiles, smooth and palmate newts.

We are located in a massively diverse ecological area. Within a twenty minute drive of our office we have confirmed populations of all six native reptile, and all seven native amphibian species. Like with so many, my path into ecology has not been a series of logical steps. But now I am here it is a very good fit.
